The Scottish news paper, The Scotsman feature a nice article;

I would use Opera all the time except for the fact that some websites will only work properly with Explorer. That should not be the case, but the companies involved seem to believe if a site works for over 90 per cent of users, why bother to redesign it? Maybe, after this week, they will have to reconsider this position, as a new browser, Mozilla Firefox, has been released which could threaten Microsoft’s monopoly. And one of the most interesting things about Firefox is that it has been developed not by another company, but by a global team of volunteers using the internet. (...)

The conclusion is interesting:

It is worth giving Firefox a go. It is free and, at worst, you may be helping to give Microsoft enough of a kick up its backside to put a few dollars into revamping its browser.
