A few studies about the browser marketshare in a specific region or country have been announced in recent weeks in Europe. Here is a quick recap:
- Germany: Gecko-based browsers: 12.7%, according to WebHits.de (as of today);
- France: Gecko-based browsers = 13.44%, according to WebRankInfo and Stats-reports, December 6th, 2004;
- Czech Republic: Firefox+Mozilla (Gecko-based browsers) = 11.18% (used to be 4.34% in March 2004), according to Iinfo.cz;
Hopefully, we may expect more reports. Should readers have such reports in local European countries (or not), please feel free to mention them in the comments, thanks! (Ideally, this would include date of analysis, Gecko-based marketshare numbers and, if possible, numbers for a period before Firefox 1.0 preview release, in order to compare the evolution).
